May I Introduce You to Some Very Special People in My Life?

They are the reason that I am ‘The Make IT Happen Mummy Mentor’.  They are the reason I am committed to Making IT (Incredible Things) Happen in my life!

They are why I made the decision to stay at home, the reason I want to make the world a better place and the reason I am so passionate about REALLY living my life…

That gorgeous guy in the middle there is my husband Pip.  I met Pip ONLINE (yes really!) and it was love at first sight despite the fact that he is sooo far from the type of man I was usually attracted to!  I just knew from the first time I saw his picture, it was confirmed when I spoke to him on the phone and from the moment we met we’ve been inseparable since.

This man is my rock.  We have been through the hardest of times together – bankruptcy, losing our home, losing his business, everything…

We’ve struggled to bring up our children on pennies but still felt like the richest people on the planet when we stepped outside to go for a family walk or as we sat on the living room floor building wooden towers with our little ones!   He’s stuck with me through all my crazy ideas and always believed in my ability to Make IT Happen and he’s the love of my life!  He’s a master at attraction marketing too!  While I write this he’s in Thailand filming the pilot for a new series on Sky One!  Watch this space!

That little guy at the bottom is our little man Tate!  My little boy is my heart and soul – he changed my life and made me into a completely different person when he chose me as his mother!  There isn’t a day that goes by when he doesn’t teach me something else.  Oh and the ideas he gives me!  Even as a tiny baby as I sat in a nursing chair breastfeeding for the 8th time in a night I’d be struck with moments of inspiration!  He reconnected me to my creativity and made me realise how strong I really am. He’s a spirited little dude that makes me smile every day and I love him to bits!

And last but mostly definitely not least is my our princess Yumi!  Giving birth to her was the most empowering experience of my life so far – I did it all by myself, completely naturally and experienced the most incredible connection to God / Source / Consciousness / whatever you want to call it EVER!  Yumi is a little ray of sunshine and together these guys are my reason why.

Whenever I look at my kids I know that in order for me to teach them to be the best they can be, I have to lead by example.  I have to reach for my dreams and make my difference… otherwise how will I teach them how to do it?

I want to do my part to make the world we live in the most supportive and joyful place it can be for them!  That’s why I support other entrepreneur mummies, mumpreneurs, work at home mothers… (whatever you like to call yourself)  in making their difference!
